Six elite teams to train under UEFA-qualified Manchester City coaches
ABU DHABI – Football has long captured the imagination of young people across the GCC, and now students in Abu Dhabi are getting a chance to live that dream.
Aldar Education has joined forces with Manchester City to launch a first-of-its-kind football initiative designed to nurture young talent, build confidence and offer professional pathways within the sport.
The partnership introduces The Aldar Education Football School, a pioneering programme powered by Manchester City that aims to redefine sports education in the UAE. Through this collaboration, students will gain access to elite training delivered by UEFA-qualified coaches directly from Manchester City.
World-class coaching
Six teams, made up of the most promising young footballers from across Aldar Education’s schools, will train under Manchester City’s coaching staff. The programme targets boys and girls in the U11, U13 and U15 age categories, providing them with technical, tactical and mental development opportunities inspired by Manchester City’s “Beautiful Football” philosophy.
Full-time Manchester City coaches will be embedded within Aldar Education schools, ensuring consistent training and guidance throughout the academic year. Students will also have the chance to earn places through annual trials, with end-of-season awards recognising top performers.

Developing young talent
Over the coming season, players from The Aldar Education Football School will take part in high-level fixtures and tours, testing their skills against elite opposition. The initiative provides a pathway for aspiring footballers to develop within a professional framework while balancing their academic pursuits.
